Hear from Our Satisfied Owners About Their Experience with West Michigan Cavaliers
I first met Linda at the farmers market through her sister in law years ago and sometimes she would have little puppies with her and I fell in love with
When my Lab passed away she was the one I went to for advice on a new puppy. She worked her magic and got me connected to the Cavaliers rescue…. And I rescued Buddy…. When Buddy got settled I looked to Linda for a companion for Buddy. Linda again worked her Magic and she Brought Blanchette into my life! When Buddy passed at 15 she helped again bringing Vivian into our lives. As a breeder Linda ensured all went through all the needed testing and appointments to ensure the pups were healthy and no medical issues. Linda ensured that all their litters were healthy and taken care of. Linda also would watch the girls in a pinch if I had to travel across state for family issues. I have and would always recommend her to anyone in need of a new family fur member!
I have not met a breeder yet that is as thoughtful and concerned over the well being of her puppies and litters health.

We got our Cavalier from Linda in 2019. She’s been so helpful to us every step of the way. From breeding to birthing to handing our puppy to us, her priority is the safety of the dogs. She makes sure they’re healthy, happy, and the loving companions that Cavaliers are meant to be. We’re so glad we found West Michigan Cavaliers!

I have known Linda of West Michigan Cavaliers for almost 14 years now. My beautiful Black and Tan Cavalier, Jackie, will be 13 & half years old on 1/1/25.
Jackie has been a healthy, wonderful, fun loving, intelligent little girl who has been an excellent companion. I attribute this to her quality and the care with which Linda handles her dogs! Linda breeds her dogs with the utmost care always aiming to improve the breed. If you are looking for a Cavalier to add to your family, you won’t go wrong with an adorable puppy from West Michigan Cavaliers.

I give Linda 5 stars for her service and support throughout our process. This was our first time working with a breeder and our experience working with her was exceptional. She was patient with us and answered all of our questions. She offered us an opportunity to come to her home and visit the dogs, which we did. She made us feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. She communicated with us constantly, sent several pictures, videos, and continued to give us updates regarding the progress of our puppy, up until the day we brought him home. We love our Blenheim boy Max.

Getting a Cavalier from Linda Ellerbroek was one of the best decisions I have ever made!!
I came to her house one night to “meet the puppies” and I was changed forever, not only with my Franklin but with my new friendship!
I was a little nervous knowing that cavaliers' health can be dicey but I have got a healthy happy Ruby (male) who is 3 and is my best friend Linda was a Godsend during my transition into new dog mom life. She helped me so much in every aspect of it. I have recommended her to many people, some who have gotten their new fur babies from her. She does NOT run a puppy mill. She has a loving home with so much knowledge and love for this breed. I cannot recommend her enough!

Marigold is my 3 year old tricolor Cavalier that I adopted from Linda Ellerbroek of West Michigan Cavaliers. Marigold is my third Cavalier King Charles Spaniel but my first with this breeder. She has had no health issues and no potty training issues ever.
She lives on a farm with our beloved Paige( 11 year old Cavalier). Marigold is beautiful and brilliant. She loves us. She loves Paige and she loves anyone who comes to visit. Her favorite way to show affection is to crawl up a human and hug around the neck while she rubs her sweet face on your cheek. She has laid with Paige since we brought her home at 8 weeks, they are inseparable. One night Marigold woke us hysterically barking, our beloved Paige was having a seizure. Marigold brought us to her; Paige had slipped under a chair. (She made a full recovery). My favorite story about Marigold is that she loves to put on her swim vest get placed into our pool, swim to the ladder and climb out herself. She becomes hysterically happy as soon as she sees us in bathing suits.Marigold loves loves to give attention and to receive it.We call her Princess of the Universe. I know she's Princess of our Universe. Bravo to Linda for perfectly breeding these precious little blessings

Hello, my name is Philip. I would like to say a few things about Linda, and West Michigan Cavaliers. Years ago my wife’s grandmother adopted a sweet Girl who was retiring from the breading program. She was, and still is the sweetest thing. That is how my wife & I ended up getting involved. It took some initial work from my wife and daughter to convince me, but convinced me they did. We loved being around and playing with Grandma’s pup so much we decided to reach out and look into getting one for ourselves. Our daughter was still a baby, but we had no reservations about bringing one of these tiny girls into the fold. Her name is Winter. Winter was quickly followed by Tootsie. We found ourselves thinking Winter could use a buddy. Linda brought Toots over in what felt like the most wickedly beautiful sucker punch ever landed in the history of mankind. Love at first sight, she looked like a little red lion from a dr dr. Seuss book. This is the first time my heart is stolen in this tale.
This progressed to us “pup sitting” at times to help out (and to have copious amounts of puppies around for our little one to enjoy” so this leads us to an adorable Puppy we can’t resist. She even had a little Marilyn Monroe beauty mark. The 3 of us fell in love, and miss Olive joined the family. Wouldn’t you know around Christmas time Linda reaches out and has this little baby Tri color. This was the second time that I alone felt attacked, because just as when I first met tootsie, this one stole my heart and refused to give it back or even share it with others. Her name is Coconut (named by our child. She also chose Olive oil. lol)
The dogs are as close to perfect as I can imagine being possible. They all are so well behaved. All of them have their own personalities, yet blend perfectly as a pack as well. They’re nice and calm when inside or around people. Let them outside and they will play for days. We’ve had no issues with them around children or people in general. Most importantly when it comes to their health (knock on wood) so far so good. Aside from their regular appointments and vaccines we have not had an issue with our girls.
All this coming from a guy who didn’t want anymore pets in the house than we already had. 4 years later I’m trying my best to collect them all.

Linda has great communication and is very knowledgeable about cavaliers. She sent us pictures of our puppy before we were able to meet him, which we greatly appreciated! Linda is very welcoming and encourages visits. The puppy space was clean and they have access to outdoors via turf. Our dog Angus (tricolor male) is the sweetest pup with a sweet & playful personality! He gets along with people and dogs of all ages and sizes. His favorite things include snuggling, going for walks and boating/swimming. He’s the perfect addition to our family!

Linda is so kind, patient and knowledgeable. She really knows her stuff about this beautiful little breed. She was able to calm my concerns about their health and pedigree. I would truly recommend her for your next Cavy. Our Poppy Sue has brought such joy into our lives.

We purchased two King Charles rubies from Linda. Scarlett who is 5 years old and Ruby who is 3 1/2 years old now. We got each of them when they were 8 weeks old. She sent us pictures every week from the day they were born. She always kept all her puppies on blankets and quilts with their mom and brothers and sisters. She treated the puppies like her own kids always clean and neatly kept surroundings in her home. She has a very deep passion as a breeder and is filled with love and affection always for the puppies. We feel very blessed to have Scarlett and Ruby and will always have two King Charles dogs at all times and would not think about getting a dog from anyone other than Linda
